Only 8 Ukrainian airports accept international flights to Ukraine: Kiev, Odessa, Donetsk, Kharkov, Lvov, Simferopol, Dnepropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya. The nearest airports to get Sumy are in Kiev and Kharkov. Most of international flights arrive at "Borispol". Kiev’s international airport “Borispol” is located not exactly in Kiev city but in town Borispol (40 kilometers from the city center of Kiev).

From Borispol airport to Sumy you can get in 3 ways:

• By taxi

To order the taxi in Borispol just after you arrival there will cost you at least 2 times more expensive then if you order this service from us. We provide pick up and taxi service for just 100 USD (€80). The driver will meet you after you pass customs, he will have the paper with your name printed. Duration of your trip to Sumy is 3,5-4 hours.

• By train

To travel by train you have firstly to get to Kiev (1-2 hours, depends on a traffic in Kiev) to Central railway station. From Borispol you can go to Kiev by bus (departs 2 times per 1 hour). From Kiev to Sumy you can get by next trains. Duration of trip to Sumy is 5-7 hours. The cost is around 15 usd (€12).

• By minibus

From Borispol airport you can get to Sumy also with Sumy local minibus company Sanavto. Minibuses (“marshrutka”) depart almost each hour from Borispol aiport. They require the previous reservation of their service. It costs around 15 usd (12€). Durationof trip is 4,5-5 hours. It arrives to the center of Sumy, bus stop near McDonald’s.
